our supporters

Your generosity will help our students become better parents, better workers, and better citizens -
impacting their lives and the lives of those around them.  There are many ways you can support
our students' efforts

BECOME A DONOR

By making a monetary donation, you can help us provide learning materials and free learning
opportunities for adults with literacy needs.  Your gift will be acknowledged by letter for tax
purposes.

HONOR A FRIEND

A donation to the Simpson County Literacy Center makes a wonderful, meaningful gift or
memorial for friends or family members.  Make a donation, in their name, to the Simpson County
Literacy Center.  We'll send a letter of appreciation, at your direction, outlining the use of the
gift donated in their honor.

ENCOURAGE YOUR CHURCH OR COMMUNITY GROUP TO SUPPORT LITERACY

If your church or community group has a mission rooted in community development or social
justice, they may be looking for ways to donate their time and financial resources.  Fighting
illiteracy is a perfect fit.  Because so many other societal problems stem from low literacy
skills, helping people learn to read, write understand math, prepare for their GED,or learn the
English language will benefit our entire community.

DONATE EDUCATIONAL, OFFICE, OR CLASSROOM SUPPLIES

Donated office supplies and materials, such as spiral-bound notebooks, 3-ring binders,
pencils, pens, calculators, and paperback dictionaries can help make learning more affordable
for Literacy Center students on limited budgets.  We welcome donations of all kinds of
supplies, including reams of white or colored paper, flip charts, markers, calendars, used
computer systems (please call for specifications), and paper products such as paper towels
or bathroom tissue.
